TVShowsondvd has posted the box art for the first set and linked a trailer put up by Eagle Rock Vision. Whatever I'll say for Eagle Rock, the trailer's a lot more honest than Lifetime sex and vampires one.

TVShowsondvd shares the news that we're finally getting Blood Ties on dvd in June. There is a catch. There's always a catch. It's billed as "season one" but it only includes the first 11 episodes. The whole split season thing bugs the heck out of me. On the bright side, I will have nice shiny copies of "Blood Ties" to watch at my leisure.

Random fandom collision: While watching the last (*wah, sniff*) episodes of "Blood Ties" on Demand, I realized that Cellucci's partner Kate has the same last name as SG1 season 9 Dr. Carolyn Lam. I still have one episode left to watch and then I will say goodbye to yet another vampire series.

Good lord. TVShowsondvd updated the earlier information on the Da Vinci's Inquest season three release. The April 29th date is wrong, however hold onto your hats, sports fans, they will be releasing something else then: the Intelligence season 1 dvds! "Blood Ties" came back from the summer hiatus last week to finish off the first season. We actually had a two-fer on Christina Cox, since she appeared on that week's "Bones" episode. She looked stunning, too, even if the storyline was quite odd, even by my tastes.

So I've caught with some tv viewing, except for Atlantis. I watched the first episode of "Painkiller Jane" and actually liked it. The actor playing Andre was kinda hot in a former military way. The weather outside is ghastly, steadily pouring rain since last night. The weather pattern appears to be covering most of the Northeast. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today.
